Collaboration on the Net

The E-Collaboration domain has been in existence since the start of the company in 2006, but for the last decade the website has been directed to a simple introductory page which is entirely about me!

We need to recognise the new status of a trading company with multiple people. I have prepared some rubric, a couple of logos, and designs.

I think there is no urgency about this but we need to make it happen.

I'd suggest that we retain a link to Deb's commercial website, which is rather different from the rest of the work we do but needs to be represented:

https://www.debpuleston.com

My examples will be presented here, at:

https://www.e-collaboration.uk [as opposed to co.uk]

First of all, suggested rubric for the pages:

> Page with suggested text

> Technology version

> Trees version

> Reykjavik version

> Rocky shore version

> Switzerland scenery version

On the real site, these pages should adapt to the context (ie mobile, small laptop screen, etc) which we can do.

We probably need at least a couple of testimonials for our technology work! Deb has loads for hers. I'll see if I can find anything...

  • I suggest that we stick to a very few, static pages rather than trying to do news items etc - I have seen often enough the overhead that that sort of thing imposes.
  • But, if we need dynamic pages I can do that (after all, I was doing that stuff long before Wordpress, Drupal etc were even thought of).
  • I had already been experimenting with logos etc - and you may hate the green on this example. I have a fondness for Pantone 357 which was the 'corporate colour' for the record company and I might like to perpetuate that.
